Every year at the Cannes Film Festival, Daniel Danite seeks a way to save the seventh art, which, according to him, is in perpetual danger. This time his idea is that every filmmaker should choose a filmmaking brother for himself. There would only be half the films and they would be twice as good. From here, Daniel, very logically, comes to think that most of his problems as a film-maker are linked to the fact that he is an only child. In order to get rid of him, a producer “friend” suggests that he take this idea even further. The Tavianis, the Farellis, the Dardennes, the Coens—so many brothers! The industry seems to be overflowing with them. But what about triplets?

New York: A blind man is obsessed with sounds. He collects sounds from the street and from his building. A young woman moving in next door is intrigued by his silence. Alone in her apartment, she becomes troubled by what she hears from behind the walls—sound fragments of her own voice, recorded, deformed and recomposed. Searching for their source, she finds herself lured into the apartment of her neighbor. While exploring it, he returns and traps her. He approaches and records the sound of her presence before unlocking the door. Alone in his studio, he mixes the sound of her voice and her breath, the final elements of a composition, his 101st indiscretion.
